The Pantry is Coming Back

We’re putting the final pieces in place to welcome Los Angeles back.
Reopening details coming soon.

Reopening with purpose

The Original Pantry Café has been a Downtown Los Angeles staple since 1924, the kind of place that kept people coming back to the same counter for generations. Now, as the city looks for ways to bring people back downtown, The Pantry is reopening as a social enterprise of Hope the Mission, bringing this landmark back to life with a renewed purpose.

Reopening means bringing back jobs. It means welcoming the community back to the counter. And it means every meal served here helps fund Hope's work supporting people experiencing homelessness across Los Angeles.
